The St. Thomas Armenian Church in Agulis, currently occupied Nakhijevan by Azeris. Established in the first century by the apostle St. Bartholomew. The Armenians of Agulis were slaughtered by Turkish forces in 1919. There was still the church in the 90s. Blasted to dust in 2009. On top of the church the destroyed Armenian church, a mosque now stands.
